Jaimie and Aria did a great job for 7T and 8L: both got first-round picks.  

Here are the essay topics from the draft:

7: 

1.  Gangs provide a sense of family

2. Ponyboy is not like the other greasers.  Comment

3. Once you go down the wrong path, there's no turning back.

8:

1. Is Jonas' community a utopia or a dystopia?

2. Discuss the role of family in The Giver.

3. The Giver is a bildungsroman (or a coming-of-age story).  Defend.

House Film Project: I was dumbfounded by your level of professionalism, your dedication, and your attention to detail.  Whether we win our not, it has been a tremendous experience.
