We will spend some time tomorrow logging in to Career Cruising so I can verify your course selection. Save me some time and do it today!
ENGLISH
1. Tomorrow, we will spend some time looking at all the possible essay topics and make a special kind of selection (more to be revealed tomorrow). As such, DO NOT go and complete frameworks as of yet. If you have time, begin putting in quotes to the framework I created for Shreds of Humanity.
2. We film on Friday, so make sure that everything is ready to go for that day. Take some time to contact your house peers to make sure you have all required materials, props, and cameras.
3. We have 4 seminars left and they will likely be completed tomorrow (Aria, Ethan, Val, and Darya)
MATH
1. Test 1 is tomorrow: you will be given a series of tables and you will be required to make a series of deductions and one inference. Be sure you are comfortable with rate of change (difference/original). As well, revise the notes you took on Friday about how to read a table (get those fingers moving).
2. Test 2 is on Wednesday: mean, median, mode, stem-and-leaf, outliers, and a reflection about your scatter plot survey. Take at least 20 minutes going over your scatter plot findings.
Grade 7
MATH
1. We will be taking up 10.2 on Tuesday, as well as working on using variables to solve problems. The first test will take place on Wednesday: constant growing patterns, describing a pattern in words, deriving the algebraic expression, and shape patterns.
2. The second test will take place on Thursday: word problems involving algebraic expressions, graphing an input/output table, and looking a line graph and deriving the algebraic expression ("naming the line")
ENGLISH
1. We will do some seminars tomorrow in Math class (probably 1-2). The remaining seminars are: Chavae, Karren, Catalina, Helen, Helia, Ryan, and Tian. We will continue seminars on Wednesday, and wrap them up on Thursday.
Have a great day off, 7s and 8s!
